Our ESG Commitment

Our commitment extends beyond compliance, we actively pursue initiatives that promote environmental stewardship, social responsibility, and ethical governance. This dedication is embedded in every aspect of our operations, reflecting our belief in the importance of positively impacting the communities and environments we operate in. Internally we have a range of ESG committees passionate about making a difference and help drive our ESG initiatives.

Environmental

We only have one planet, and everyone has a responsibility to protect the health and longevity of our home. Aurion is committed to protecting our environment by focusing on action against climate change and setting a target for reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions to achieve carbon neutrality by FY2030. Some initiatives to support achieving this goal: Switching to renewable electricity in our offices, using sustainable data centres to reduce GHG emissions, implementing “Print on Demand” systems to reduce the amount of wasted paper and toners through abandoned or misdirected printing and reduce or offset our greenhouse gas emissions.

Social

We want to create a workplace where everyone feels included, respected and welcomed. Some of the ways we are making a positive social impact include: our ​Reconciliation Action Plan, adopting a No Glass Ceiling initiative called Connect, Work180 endorsement and Women in Tech partnership and having a dedicated Diversity & Inclusion Working Group. We also proactively support communities through a range of activities throughout the year including DV Collective, STEPtember, Movember, Wesley Red Bag Appeal and Kokoda Youth Foundation Trek.

Governance

Underpinning our company is a robust corporate governance framework, which is key to ensuring compliance with statutes, regulations, and industry standards thus helping to improve business processes and mitigate risks. We have over 30 policies implemented to facilitate this goal. This includes but is not limited to our Code of Conduct, Modern Slavery Statement and Human Rights Workplace Policy.
