Aurion Version 11.99 is now live! 

Our latest software release, Aurion Version 11.99 (login required), is now available. for customers to use.  

This update is designed to strengthen system security, support compliance across people and payroll processes, and maintain a seamless user experience. With organisations handling growing volumes of sensitive employee and payroll data, Version 11.99 enhances security while keeping processes efficient and uninterrupted. It also reflects Aurion’s ongoing roadmap on evolving alongside industry standards and customer needs. 

What’s featured in this release

• Content Security Policy (CSP) is enabled by default 

• WGEA reporting 

Strengthened login security across Aurion web services 

Security remains a priority in every Aurion release, and Version 11.99 introduces stronger login protection across all web services.  

After three failed login attempts, users will now experience a temporary five-minute lockout instead of a full lockout. Access will then be automatically restored once the lockout period ends. 

This enhancement helps minimise disruption while continuing to safeguard the system and deliver a seamless user experience. By replacing rigid lockout mechanisms with a more flexible approach, organisations can maintain productivity while ensuring their systems remain protected. It also helps reduce the administrative burden on support teams, who often manage account lockout requests. 

This approach provides a more balanced user experience by reducing unnecessary friction, particularly for employees accessing people and payroll systems during time-sensitive tasks. 

Content Security Policy (CSP) is enabled by default

Continuing our focus on modern security standards, Aurion now enforces Content Security Policy (CSP) by default in Version 11.99. 

CSP is a web security feature that helps protect your system from malicious activity by controlling which external content sources a browser can load. 

Aurion supports commonly used trusted sources by default (such as video platforms like YouTube and Vimeo), ensuring that standard functionality continues without disruption. At the same time, organisations can add additional sources as required, giving them control over how their environment is configured. 

With this enhancement, Aurion:

• Restricts unauthorised external resources, reducing exposure to malicious content 

• Strengthens defence against common web vulnerabilities, such as cross-site scripting (XSS) 

• Maintains system functionality 

• Offers configuration flexibility where required 

By enabling CSP as a default, Aurion helps protect organisations’ data and systems without adding complexity. 

WGEA reporting 

Aurion continues to support organisations in meeting Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) reporting requirements, with enhancements aligned to the 2026 reporting framework. These updates build on the existing 2025 solution and are available from Version 11.98.1 onwards, including Aurion Version 11.99. 

Key updates include: 

• Unit-level reporting with annualised FTE
  Reporting is now aligned at the organisational unit level, with annualised full-time equivalent (FTE) calculations to provide more accurate workforce representation. 

• Simplified configuration
  Updates to the configuration process make it easier for organisations to prepare and manage their WGEA submissions, reducing setup complexity and administrative effort. 

• Test environment support
  Organisations can run WGEA reporting in a test environment (following a refresh), allowing teams to validate data and outputs ahead of submission with greater confidence. 

• Updated submission timeline
  Extension applications must be submitted via the WGEA Employer Portal by 31 May 2026. 

These updates simplify compliance while strengthening payroll data integrity, helping organisations meet WGEA obligations with greater efficiency and confidence.
