As the newest member of our Consulting team, the Project Officer is a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of payroll implementation projects. Working closely with project stakeholders, this role will ensure that governance standards and administration processes are adhered to, while also identifying areas for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
As an integral member of our Consulting team, your responsibilities will include:
- Establish and maintain an effective Project Administration process for Implementation Partner Projects
- Administer and support invoicing and revenue recognition processes for Implementation Partners
- Engage Implementation Partners to identify and execute administrative support functions
- Work closely with the Program Manager in the development of a reporting framework to identify adherence to governance standards
- Develop project schedules, billing plans, and dashboards
- Administer relevant PMO Systems (Jira, Confluence, Clarizen)
- Assist the Program Manager in the maintenance of all PMO Processes and Procedures
- Collaborate with the Program Manager and Project Managers on initiatives impacting administrative functions
- Champion process adherence and improvements
Skills and experience
We are looking for a highly motivated team member who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment alongside the following qualities:
- Previous experience as a Project Officer or in a similar project support role is highly advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for maintaining accuracy and quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write clear and concise process updates
- A proactive mindset with the ability to identify areas for improvement and drive change
- High energy, with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A desire to grow into a Project Manager role, with the ambition to take on increasing responsibilities
