Business Analyst

Full Time | Brisbane

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst who is passionate about leading key business improvement initiatives and supporting our implementation teams to help our clients realise the benefits of using Aurion solutions. As a key member of the Client Engagement Team, you will work across our business to progress our  improvement initiatives while supporting our delivery teams for the realisation of our strategic goals. 

What you will do

  • Build your understanding of the business strategy to analyse processes, identify business needs and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver high quality business improvement outcomes
  • Consult with internal stakeholders and facilitate strong working relationships to support collaboration, the exchange of information and influence outcomes
  • Work with learning services to keep learning content aligned to process improvement and address client feedback
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to improve our client experience and onboarding processes
  • Work with our Product Owners to define and prioritise client and business needs
  • Generate artefacts to document business needs, issues and outcomes including user process maps, journey maps, user stories and business requirement documents
  • Support project implementation teams by proactively managing key stakeholder relationships, leading and conducting workshops and meetings as required to re-engineer business processes, enable client UAT preparation and facilitate post implementation reviews
  • Drive new revenue opportunities through business consulting opportunities within our client base

What will make you successful in this role:

  • The ideal candidate will have recent demonstrated experience delivering business analysis services in complex environments
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a collaborative team and effectively facilitate negotiation to build consensus and reach sound decisions
  • Ability to build strong relationships and influence for business outcomes
  • Knowledge and proven application of business analysis principles, methodologies and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems strategically and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated expertise in using technology to create business process improvements
  • Experience in facilitating workshop and presentations
  • Experience in using Kanban, Scrum, Agile and lean methodologies
